Good Clean Kitchen: The Original GreenPan Venice Pro Cookware

This beautiful cookware form GreenPan is as easy to use as it is on the eyes.

I’m so excited to share a brand that I’ve been using for a few months now that has completely changed my cooking game—meet GreenPan. You might have seen this beautiful cookware make an appearance quite a few times on my Instagram and Stories if you’ve been following along with my quarantine cooking adventures. But I assure you, these beautiful pots and pans are as easy to use as they are on the eyes.

I had been looking for a really great cookware set to add to our wedding registry for quite some time and had a long list of musts. Non-stick (for easy cleanup), Teflon-free (because traditional non-stick cookware is bad for you and the environment), and of course, aesthetically pleasing.

This beautiful set from GreenPan fit the bill. It’s coated in a durable ceramic that won’t deposit harmful chemicals like lead, cadmium, nickel, or toxic metals in your food. And they are truly non-stick! Cleanup has been an absolute breeze with these pans, whether I’m cooking a lemon roasted chicken on Sunday nights or a light and healthy soup to enjoy throughout week.

Another great thing I love about the GreenPan Venice Pro Set is that it includes all of the essentials you could need—a frying pan, a sauté pan, a steamer pan and more. Unless you are a professional chef or entertain often, the chances that you will need more pans than this is slim. As someone who mostly cooks for two (three if you count Teddy), these pans are absolutely perfect for our small city kitchen. They also stack easily and tuck neatly away in my cabinets. You know how much I love to stay organized and declutter!

GreenPan has so many beautiful sets, so you can mix and match your favorites. I especially love this pink set and this modern black set. If you’re looking for something to brighten up your kitchen, these certainly fit the bill.

With that in mind, I’ve rounded up my favorite pieces from the GreenPan collection below!

SimmerLite Dutch Oven

A true kitchen workhorse! I use it for everything from pastas and stew to roasting a whole chicken.

Venice Pro Set

The complete collection—everything you need to cook great meals at home. (And beautiful to boot!)

Venice Pro Sauté Pan

Aromatic stir-fries and slow-simmering sauces clean up easily in this perfectly-sized pan.

Padova Frypan Set

Eggs! Stir-fry! The perfect go-to, everyday set. A versatile, functional set of pans.

Home Tour: A 1920's Colonial Revival Brimming with Charm

I recently came across this beautiful home tour and just had to share. It’s the closest to how I envision my dream home—just add arches and a dipping pool surrounded by lemon trees, please!

The closest a home tour has come to embodying what I’ve been dreaming up for a future home (just add some archways!). This 1920’s Colonial revival home was renovated and designed by Danish-born interior designer Pernille Lind. Her discerning eye The attention to detail and love of travel is woven into every project she has touched thus far, so inspired by her discerning eye—the neutral foundation that creates such a serene atmosphere, the charming molding details, the arched windows, the french doors, the travertine coffee table, the green and white mosaic marble, the Murano bedroom chandelier, collected vintage, all the cane/rattan… every carefully curated detail ties together in perfect harmony.

Have a look and prepare to swoon…

Essentials for Spring Entertaining

Image via Jenni Kayne Home

There’s something about spring that gets me in the mood to entertain. The longer, warmer days, balmy nights… something about the season just puts me in such a good mood. There’s truly nothing I love more than sunshine, fresh air, good music, a crisp glass of rosé, and a beautifully set table to share food and catch up with good friends and family.

I thought it was the perfect time to share my favorite picks for entertaining, especially after I’ve stocked up on a few things that I have been eyeing and can’t wait to share. Below, find a handful of things I have and love. It’s a small collection of things that truly add a special touch to the every day. I’ve also linked some things on my wish list—adding to our wedding registry for sure! xx

FAVORITE ENTERTAINING ESSENTIALS

Jenni Kayne Bowl

This is my newest addition and I’m in love! Such a great bowl for serving large salads or grains in style. It’s super light-weight porcelain and so charming! It adds such a statement to your tabletop.

Pottery Barn Cotton Napkins

These cotton napkins are so durable, while adding a chic and relaxed look to your table. I have them in white, tan, and stripe. I even keep a stack around for drying dishes because I love the material. Truly a kitchen workhorse and for a great price!

Duralex Picardie Tumblers

I love having a variety of charming glassware options and Duralex is my brand of choice. The tempered glass is perfect for both hot and cold drinks, and they are incredibly durable. I love the French flair they add to my table, no matter how simple the setting. The Picardie style are by far my favorite and our most-used.

Eclectic and Cozy Home Tour

A cool modern farmhouse in Michigan with lots of personality to go around.

Happy Labor Day weekend! Can you believe that Summer is coming to a close? It's been over 90 degrees here in Charleston, but my mind has been thinking ahead to Fall. I can't wait to get our home ready by adding some cozy accessories and luxurious candles (Diptyque Feu de Bois is my favorite seasonal scent.) One of my favorite ways to get inspired is to pick up a few magazines, trend forecast, scroll through favorite sites and blogs, and get my creative juices flowing.

I'm usually a fan of more pared down spaces, but Michelle Adams, founder of Lonny Magazine, has my mind changed with this modern meets traditional mix that makes up her Michigan home. The colors, textures, laidback farmhouse vibes, and her gorgeous kitchen have me wanting to hit up every antique store to get this collected look. Enjoy!

Bedroom Refresh

Inspiration for our new coastal home.

Now that we're getting things packed and ready for our move to Charleston, we've been going back and forth on what things we want to keep, donate or bring some new life into for our new home. Since it's our first time really sharing a place and decorating it together, I thought it was time to give our things a new look. I'm loving the fact that we live by the beach now and can bring in some coastal elements—it makes a lot more sense now.

Here are some bedrooms that are giving me major interior envy and elements that I want to incorporate into our new space:

How to Transition Your Straw Accessories Well into Fall

My favorite rattan and straw accessories for endless Summer vibes.

And like that, Summer is over—for most of us anyway. Down in Charleston, we're still enjoying a few late sunsets and endless beach days.

I will say, however, it did feel like this season went by in the blink of an eye. Admittedly, I’m excited to get out my fall favorites—ankle boots, denim jackets and start stocking up on cozy blankets and textiles for the home. But I’m still trying to get some last-minute wear out of my new Summer pieces while I still can.

I recently got a pair of gorgeous rattan slides from Carrie Forbes and I haven’t been able to stop wearing them since. They're the perfect accent to my end-of-summer outfits and looks good with anything, even more structured pieces. It's spurred somewhat of a straw and rattan addiction. I keep spotting woven pieces on Pinterest and while I'm out shopping. I just can’t help myself—I even want to start introducing some rattan into the home!

From hats for you to baskets for your home, I’ve rounded up some of my favorites here.
